Linda grew up in the suburbs of Glasgow. She worked for the Bank of Scotland for 5 years before moving to the South Coast to study at Moorlands College for 3 years. On leaving college she worked for the Saltmine Trust for a year before moving to South London to live. She worked as a PA to the Company Secretary of a large retail Company for 3 years before leaving to have her children. She came to Spurgeons in June 2000 as the Placement Administrator/Coordinator of the all the College placements for ministerial students. In 2013 her title changed to Director of Practical Training to reflect her job more appropriately. In September 2016 she also took on the role of the Director of Admissions with oversight of the Admissions Department. She completed the Bachelor of Divinity at Spurgeon’s and graduated in July 2015. Linda has been involved at the heart of church life in churches in Glasgow, South London and Essex.
In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, DVD Box sets (e.g. NCIS Los Angeles, West Wing…), catching up with friends and musical theatre. She has two grown-up daughters.
